Guide to running Austiblox on Linux(update december 2025) | Forum

To run austiblox on you linux you will need these things 


Umu-launcher

A File explorer

A Text editor


After installing Umu  launcher you open the terminal and you run:  umu-run winetricks dotnet48


Then you install austiblox using umu-run /path/to/austiblox/installer.exe



After you installed these you go to /home/(Your username)/.local/share/applications and make a file called austi-blox.desktop


And inside austi-blox.desktop you paste this


[Desktop Entry]

Version=1.0

Type=Application

Exec=umu-run ~/path/to/austiblox/AustibloxUpdater.exe %u (normally the default umu prefix is located at  /home/username/games/umu/umu-default/drive_c)

Icon=~/.wine/drive_c/Austiblox/NovetusIcon.ico

StartupNotify=true

Terminal=true

Categories=Game;

MimeType=x-scheme-handler/austiblox

Name=Austiblox

Comment=Launch austiblox


And then run the command


xdg-desktop-menu install ~/.local/share/applications/austi-blox.desktop


sometimes the game will not launch at first so you have to keep joining until it opens

i did this but when i press play on the website page for a game a terminal opens up for a second and then nothing happens????

honestly i feel like mac is 10k dollars for a dollar tree product. and its obvious that your a 8 year old on your dad/moms 10 year old imac thats been in the basement forever. austiblox is NOT for you my dude. im pretty sure you were born in like 2017...
