Hi there,
if you need to import gears in a game, you will need to use an older version of the asset which uses rbxmx.
Use this link to download an older version of any asset, (hats, gears, shirts, pants, even places, but you will need to be the owner of that for places).

Try to tweak the version number and see if its good for you.
Also, what I usually do is download models that have an older date from the ROBLOX library using BTRoblox as the extension. Try to search for what you need! :-)
