I have a 2005 HP Pavilion desktop, and it turns on, but nothing shows up on screen. Also the hard drive light turns yellow.
10 days late response, but maybe ur gpu is not working anymore and ur hard drive may also be not working anymore. hard drives are cheap to buy and a gpu can also be cheap if u buy windows xp era stuff too, look on ebay for them
could also be ram, theres many things that can cause it to not boot.
change ram sticks, but yeah i agree with the dude on top you should swap to a different gpu and see if it displays. I had that same problem before. It's a possibility that your motherboard caps are bad. Check and see with a flashlight if any of them are brown or bulging on the top.
