I first heard about roblox revivals through finobe, i was a bit of a troublemaker there (especially considering how young i was) and only played for abouut... half a year? eventually news broke that it shut down due to the dmca and i heard about it. didn't really phase me however as i stopped playing it long before then.

Fast forward 8 years, and i make a channel named "xx_sandbox_lover_xx" on youtube, primarily using dated software to make it's content. Looking for a way to "deslopify" my roblox content so-to-speak, i discover novetus. Novetus served it's job well at the time through some factors, main one being that it hosted 2012 clients, and the addition of custom accessory support. While these two factors were great in my eyes, it was missing many other things such as custom decals, custom meshes, and convenient ways to play online. (or maybe i was doing something wrong, not sure) that's when i remembered seeing a video about austiblox on youtube. Deciding to look further into it, i eventually made my account, had to fix issues with it getting immediately perma-banned right as i made it, and went on to other things such as introducing friends, uploading games, trying to make my own little game for machinimas and recording, making friends through the game, seeing what they had to offer for it as well, collaborating with fellow y2ktubers, and making nice little memories during the short time i was here.

gage, through it all, i want to say thank you for providing everything you could for this platform. even if i wasn't there for greater moments, i hope those memories can be something nice to look back on.

if you're going through a tough time right now, (i assume you are) i hope you can find stability in your struggles. these words probably don't mean alot, but i hope i got things off my chest well enough.

Austiblox will shut down following next month. Enjoy while it lasts.
