I just uploaded the castle.dll file of the 2014 client on virustotal, and 32 out of 72 vendors said its malicious. Is it really harmless?

antiviruses always flag old roblox revival projects

now, there were some revivals that actually WERE infected with malware from the creators, but many of them aren't

you can never be too sure unless you sandbox your environment or if you see the source code.

i'd also like to note, i myself have written many software that possessed no malicious code inside of them, yet windows defender would flag it, i had to change my compiler flags to more aggressive to avoid the issue

sometimes antiviruses are just wrong.

it's just impressive to me how it happens to happens on most roblox revivals

if i recollect correctly, graphictoria and a few others turned out to have spyware inside, but i'm not sure

There is a file called "Trojan-Ransom.Win32.Crypmod.zfq" in the installer. At least going off what virustotal says. I wouldn't be surprised if austiblox is a trojan, its like graphictoria.

austiblox is what you call a false positive, not anywhere close to gtoria or k*rone

the castle.dll file is austi's anticheat, which isn't officially signed. so naturally an unknown DLL that isnt signed will come off as a virus almost every time
