why is buildware so popular? | Forum
it gets like 7 or 8 players on there, and the highest i've ever seen it is when it had like 26 players. its literally just a building game. on a serious note however, its very annoying considering this is literally just a building game with parts in it where as actual games, (imported or made) that are actually fun and worth playing, have little to no players online, because of buildware. we gotta do something about this, because im pretty sure most people are a little annoyed with buildware being the most popular game on here every single day.

I think part of the reason building games are so popular is just because building with like stamper tool or with parts (like buildware or silly building) in 2012 isn't able to be fully replicated on modern roblox or at least not replicated easily, so it's something you can only really properly experience in an old client.
Also, a lot of the games on here other than like building games just aren't that appealing especially when anything with progression either just won't save or will have everything unlocked, because there's no way to save data. So the only things that work well are things that just don't really need to save anything (minigames, building games, etc.)

because people see "10 players in game" on the bottom of the game, and they join solely because that there are people in the game
