Hi there,

In order to fix this issue, you will need to use a program called 'ROBLOX Legacy Place Converter'. To start, you will need to open your place file in a newer version of ROBLOX Studio then click 'File' > 'Save As'. You will need to pick the option rbxlx, which is a binary version of your place file.

After this, head on over to this link, in order to download the program :
https://github.com/...ce_Converter_1.3.exe

Once you have opened the program, you will need to choose your actual rbxl place file, then the program will ask you to choose your newly saved as rbxlx file.

Finally, you will need to wait a bit for the program to finish converting, and voila!

You can finally upload your place file without any issues!

Hi Zealous, is it normal that once the place file is converted, it doesn't respond and the program crashes? Just wanted to know.

Hi there,

it is sometimes normal for the program to crash, since I believe it can't handle certain places sometimes, which happened to me with two place files I was converting for someone. You will probably need to manually add assets from the game in parts.
