id think 2014 was the last year of old roblox client-wise. but culturally, 2016 to 2017 is my limit for old roblox

mid 2014 imo, new terrain textures, shift from 30 to 60 fps, bacon hairs started appearing
2017 was a worst year for "old roblox". This was the year roblox made it clear they wanted to move out from their old appeal
