i mostly used 2012 studio but i used new studio to polish off my game and i overwrited my previous save and now the game gave me the id-17 error and studio 2012 would crash so i converted it with legacy place converter and now its all grey and 2012 sudio wont even attempt to open it it seems
Maybe you could try copying and pasting the assets manually in a new project to see whats the asset that is causing problems, It generally won't let you paste it into studio
that didnt work so i nearly gave up but then i had an idea
i grouped the map as a model and saved as rbxmx (xml format) and renamed it to rbxm and then painstakingly recolored every brick by hand
anyway plz play plate place
